Wonderful Weekend

Blur-ness hit me again on Fri. Was supposed to meet Leona for some german beers and pork knuckles and since I reached earlier, I went to look for the place but damn it, I walked around the building in circles and I just couldn’t find and best still, the security guards don’t even know lor and at this instance, I was right outside the main door cursing and cwhen I so happen to catch a glance of the shopping centre name- UE SQUARE and I was like FUCK!!!! I suppose to go UNITED SQUARE, whahahha!!!!! Damn blur can….Drove down to united sq and the traffic was like crazy can on a Fri evening, all the efforts just to eat pork knuckles and German beers.

The traffic is just horrible la, every where and every corners, no parking lots lor. We wanted to go Clarke Quay but NO LOTS.. Ended up at Jewel Box, even Mt.Faber also no lots…. horrible la…. Our time were spent in the car more than sitting down la…

Oh ya, I mustttttttt recommend this movie, Ip-Man, Ytd I was down at downtown east (also no lot and wait damn fucking long) to catch the preview, i gave it 5 popcorns rating.

So this year Xmas eve settled, as usual, BBQ again, same old style for the past 2 yrs with great company, good food and champagne and a peaceful nite away from rubbing shoulders at Orchard.

Good news is that we will be landing immediately.Bad news is we’re crash landing.

Everyone is home on a Sat nite!!!!!!!!!! Been partying too much over the past few days that now everyone is resting. Was watching Madagascar 2 at downtown east and I fell asleep halfway through, oppss…. still sore and tired after partying hard at Phuture last nite, anyway it was a great nite, we just get loose and danced the nite away 🙂 and Madagascar was awesome, it was so funny although I doze off for a few mins.

Was calling everyone at 10+ when the movie ended, but seriously, they are all nua-ing at home, so we ended up at Cabana for a quick drink. The drinks at Cabana are fucking exp tonight, more that $400 + cos we parked at handicapped lot and was debating whether to wait or just parked, and I gave my assurance that nothing will happened and whaha..tata… one big white piece of paper on the wiper, scare other ple duno we are being summoned lor, $400!!!!!! OUCH!!!!! I seriously need to stop DRINKING and being a COUCH POTATO cos is doing serious damage to my weight, fuck then I can stay at home n sulk on dec 13rd when everyone is having a fun time at ZoukOut.

Time jus flies lor, it was this time last yr that I was in Melb, and having a fucking great time and so happened when I was missing them, they MSN me, I was like counting down to the days when they are back next month n shall go GATHER jus in time for the festive season but sad to say, is not like in Melb anymore 😦

Chu Yi was spent on the mahjong table and damn lost money to 3 old birds (my 3 aunts).

Chu er was down to KL, we set off tog. from my house at 7pm and the guys just love to mor lor, they spent too much time at every pit stop and reached the hotel at 1.30am. Highly recommended- Dorsett Regency hotel, 5mins walking distance to the shopping malls.we booked deluxe rm priced at SGD $88 per rm per nite and they complimentary upgraded us to junior suite. WEE!!!!

Yanting loves eating, so basically 2 of us get hungry so fast and whine non stop about wanting to eat every few hours, the guys were like “HUH?? HUNGRY AGAIN? EAT AGAIN?”

Had dinner here, I am still craving for the mango pork spareribs salad, yummy that i pester my dad to cook for me.

When I saw Nandos at Pavillion, I go crazy and insisted on eating but BOO!!! wasn’t nice at all, I need to go back melb for it.

We were sitting at Starbucks contemplating whether to go back hotel to sleep at 3pm (lol, we couldn’t wake up every morning 4 sleepy pigs on travel = DEAD!), when I thought of Times Square and next found ourselves at the indoor theme park for the rest of the noon, and Petaling Jaya for the night. No Zouk though, cos they don’t drink and club, BOO!!!

Genting on Sun. Lost RM 50 on baccarat at the casino. I made myself leave after losing, SELF DISCIPLINE!!!

Signature Ride! Yanting told me someone flew off into the forest during the ride and I was so paranoid and checked multiple times to ensure is secured.

Finally after many attempts and just nice the moment we are done, the lights went off at 1am and security guards chased us away.

Reached Sin at 5pm and concussed all the way till Tues morning.

I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SHOP AT JLN SULTAN. STUPID AH NEI.

When the food came, look like shit and I asked my frd to share with me. He proceed to take empty plate and fork but the stupid ah nei say cannot take plate can only take plate cos is one person serving. NOT BUFFET y can’t share? I damn hot lor, stand up wanted to leave (I already paid beforehand, $5.70 somemore) but my frd stopped me.ANGRY!!!

NEXT MTH, BKK 28/3 to 2/4. WEE!!!!

School term is starting and the guys are going back to Mel tml, will only see them in 1yr time. BOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Thurs we had a BBQ at Elv’s house, at the pool side and i must said the food are awesome. When this alcoholic gang of us meet together, alcohol is a MUST!. so after all the heavenly food, we done our round of vodka cranberry, Jap beer and Black label. *Winks*

We tried out Gotham Penthouse on Fri, and it totally bored the death out of us. Coincidently, all the peeps are back from Mel, and some brought their friends from Perth. So that night, was like a school exchange party, with all the different Aus. Uni. The smoking room was so small and stuffy that I probably choked to death. I just can’t get used to the new rule – alcohol and cigs come hand in hand, they complement each other, how can they set this new rule?

Half the group went off, leaving only4 of us behind and off to Geographer Bar 5mins before 5am to their closing time.

Transformers

Transformers was all great, had no intention to catch this ‘boy’ kind of movie but peeps around me are giving me the thumbs up, and true enough, the best show of the month, it was fantastic especially when they all change into robots and i lubssssssss bumblebee.

Fri night, i was chilling out at orchard with Ning, with the drizzles, the Fri crowd and on top of the GST offset, it was “mountain people mountain sea”. Oh ya, i blew my GST money on topshop shopping. While waiting for the guys, 2 of us just laze around at HK cafe, forcing down the noodles and enormous mango ice and couldn’t think of what to do?

Mahjong?

Ktv-ing?

Club?

Finally after 1hr of indecisiveness, it was to finish the remaining chivas at Shin at Boat Quay.

Now the problem is that i really hate Boat Quay,  apart from Harry’s, Macs and lunching at the restaurants. To make matters worse, my friend “childhood friend” so happened to be there that night. He was drunk, was practically lying around and showed me his sick face when he lost to me five-ten in a row. OK, to make story short, we were eating after that when he just flipped the chilli saucer, my sweet-no temper gf just slided her bowl of ban mian and threw the chopsticks at him and walked off, i tell you it was super hilarious. I turned from talking to him nicely, to shouting to scolding, (no, 5 glasses of diluted Chivas green tea make no effects in me yet) i don’t even care whether people in the coffee shop were looking at us, cause he was just a jerk. Can you imagine, when my friend (also his friend) sided me and asked him to go home, know what he say?

“Let’s us not be friends anymore, you betray me and our more than 10years of friendship over a girl!!!” CHILDISH RIGHT???? or either he is totally insane.

Luckily he is going back to states, ( really disgrace us Singaporeans when he behave in such manner and perceive a bad misconception to the Americans).

BOO!!!!!

A birthday and a death

What matter most is your loved ones are there for you till the last breath.

My boy’s dog passed away last night due to old age and cancer, the dog was so courageous despite all the pain, yet waiting for boo to finish work and seeing him for the last time before he finally rest in peace.

Boo was so sad and still have to go down to his ex colleague’s birthday and put on a brave front. But all in all, we still have a good time.

Well, what can i say? Life still goes on.

Velvet Dragon

Now that exams are over, I didn’t know what else to do beside work.

 

So yesterday was down to Velvet Dragon, I was skeptical about that place but no choice, the guys wanted to check it out and I cant possibly make them oblige me by going MOS. I cringed when i heard house music, is not my type. But as the night goes by, they started playing RNB. It was free entry before 11pm, jugs were $12 was super diluted, but then again u get what u paid. Chivas so cheap at $150, so a total of 15 of us whacked 2 bottles and 12 jugs. I must say at the end of the day, I was the sober one, reason was that i was sick and i doesn’t want to risk it by excess drinking. But still at the end, i still lost my voice.

 

Didn’t I say it was total fun going out with them?

 

 

 

 

Roomfuls of blues

Again, being Friday yesterday, we headed down to roomfuls of blues after rounding up our revision at 10pm.

 

Right from the start, we make it a chill out session, so no bottles opened, no binge drinking, just slow drinking and sipping of beers and everyone was starting to get bored and dozing off. Until when we started playing FIVE-TEN, and dice, the beers keep coming in and ended up doing forfeits, I swear i will not be back there for the time being, is so embarrassing can? They were like singing, stripping, pulling out boxers, doing sex position and more of the usual sorts. Anyway, the guys were killing each other and leave me the only girl out, and so i was the unofficial photographer and got a lot of classic shots.

But it was definitely fun, i just love them to bits.

Exams Blues

13 days more to end all this exam shit, we been mugging like nobody business be it at the airport or in school till 10pm. And when it was Fri yesterday, all of us need some intoxication and down we went to Roomfuls of Blues after mugging. And it was like hell break free, everyone was so high despite all the tiredness. But when 2.30am came, only then we realize we did have an exam coming on.

But i must said, we are indeed very motivated and positive.
